First time at Modesto Cafe. Found the place on Yelp. As soon as we walked in we knew we were going to be eating something delicious. The aromas coming from the kitchen really set for what was to come. The waitress was very pleasant, quick and checked in on us perfectly. Food arrived about 10 ish minutes after ordering. My son cleaned his plates and ate half of my pancakes. The food was delicious and hot. We walked out saying we're definitely coming back.
It feels very much like a small town diner. I had an omelette that was very good. I love that it came with pancakes. The woman working the front was very pleasant, and the man in the kitchen made my food quick and delicious.
Food was great, totally affordable. My son approved. Our waitress was the sweetest & most attentive. Will be back often.
Great breakfast spot. Whenever we visit Modesto, we come here and have enjoyed our meals every time. The service alone deserves 5 stars, we love that it's a family business and always feel like part of the family when we dine here. This is a down to business kind of diner, no fluff just food and a good experience. They are open and willing to accommodate my dietary needs and truly care about my enjoyment. I will continue to come back and recommend to anyone who may be in the area.
So far it's the best breakfast in Modesto. Staff is very kind. Really yummy biscuits and gravy.
One ofthe best places I have ever been for breakfast! Was pleasantly surprised to have found a new favorite breakfast place! The Chilaquiles were absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection! The right half of plate was hash browns and two eggs on top! An abundance of food for half the price! Got the red sauce and it was actually spicy!!
Stopped in today to try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean this place was on the inside. The food was on point. Service was great and friendly. Definitely will be adding this place to my weekly lunch rotation.
One of my absolute favorite local places! Really friendly staff and amazing food. I always feel welcome when I enter, and full when I leave. I always order an omelette, which comes with potatoes and a side of toast or pancakes included. I always opt for the hash browns and pancakes. But the real star of the show is the Spanish sauce they put on the omelette. It's so delicious and it makes an already great breakfast AMAZING!
